The Cornerstone Suites is located on the second floor of the Cornerstone Building, which anchors the southwest corner of the picturesque city square in Lake City, Iowa.  Whether in town for business or pleasure, or just passing through, visitors will find the suites inviting and relaxing.

Lake City celebrates the arts. Its community of artisans imparts a special sense of place, of ambient creativity and industry.  There is music in the air in this vibrant little town. In harmony with its surroundings, Cornerstone Suites offers a great vantage point from which to venture out and explore.

Guests may choose either the Bouguereau Suite or the Larsson Suite.

Bouguereau Suite
Lavishly decorated in the Traditional Style, the Bouguereau Suite features the art of French painter Adolphe-William Bouguereau (boo-gro’). Exquisite and comfortable, the sitting room overlooks the city square. In the bedroom, the handcrafted furniture is the work of a local artisan. In addition to the queen-size bed, a sofa-sleeper in the sitting room allows this suite to accommodate up to four people.

Larsson Suite
The charming work of Swedish artist Carl Larsson sets the mood in the Larsson Suite. The crisp, clean lines of the Scandinavian Style make this suite a cheery delight. The highlight of this suite is a wall-size adaptation of Larsson’s “Flowers on the Windowsill.” The little gardener, Suzanne, fills the bedroom with enchantment. The queen-size bed is welcoming and comfortable.
